When working as a family photographer
I enjoy capturing those intimate and precious every day family life moments. I will work with you and your family to achieve photographs you will love to look back at together again and again.
Photography style -
I stay away from posed, staged style photos and instead opt for candid natural shots. I find this is a great way to capture real emotions and helps all those invovled feel relaxed in front of the camera.
Location -
We can arrange to meet at a location set in nature such as on dartmoor or within a forest setting. Or alternatively we can arrange to meet at your home or other location of your choosing. This can be discussed at the booking stage. The aim of the location is to find a place where you and your family feel most comfortable and can enjoy a family experience such as a walk, picnic or simply relaxed day at home.
Neurodiversity -
If you or your children are neurodiverse I am more than happy to work with you and feel confident, through personal experience with my own neurodiverse children, we will be able to capture beautiful photos, at your pace in a way that makes you and your family feel comfortable. We can discuss beforehand what you or your child likes and might make them feel safe and secure around a photographer. I want your time with me to not just be about capturing photos, but also an enjoyable family experience.

When working as a family photographer
As a wedding photographer I work closely with my couples to make sure to document all of the memories and people who are important to them on their day.
Photography style -
I stay away from staged and posed photographs and instead capture the natural aesthetic of the day, giving you photographs you’ll always be excited to look back at, and will bring the day to life once more.

Neurodiversity -
If you or your partner are neurodiverse I am more than happy to work with you and feel confident we will be able to capture beautiful photos, at your pace in a way that makes you and your partner feel comfortable. We can discuss beforehand how you feel around the camera and if there is anything I might need to know about you to ensure we achieve what you want, including the chance to meet me beforehand to get to know me and help you familiarise yourself with me and my presence. This is available to everyone, including those without neurodiversity.
